We Need Justice for George Floyd

George Floyd, peace activist and respected community leader, was murdered in broad daylight by Minneapolis police using unnecessary deadly force.

In Minneapolis on business, far from his community and family, four officers had him dragged from his car and pinned to the ground with an officer's knee his neck. He was not armed and not violent. In effect, modern-day lynching.

Video evidence shows Derek Chauvin using a deadly chokehold, as Floyd says he can't breathe. The words "I can't breathe", unfortunately, became his last.

All 4 cops have now been arrested. Tou Thao, Thomas Lane, and J Alexander Kueng are all facing charges for aiding and abetting second-degree murder charges, as well as aiding and abetting second-degree manslaughter. According to Attorney General Keith Ellison, Derek Chauvin's charges will now also be charged with second-degree murder. Regardless of the cops getting arrested, the fight is far from over. Many lives have been taken by the same institution that killed George Floyd and many, many others. Justice, equity, and equality have yet to be achieved. We need to keep fighting, and keep pushing for change!

Many people across America are asking for your help.
